Thanks to generous donations from our supporters, Hope Humanitarian is sponsoring a Child Safe Space in the Kutapalong refugee camp in partnership with AMAL Foundation.
Adequate sanitation can really be a problem in refugee camps. In partnership with the Utah Islamic Center and residents of the camps, teams from Hope Humanitarian have installed more permanent toilets and solar showers.
Mike Hamilton brings his magic show on the road to refugee camps around the world. His project Operation Build-A-Buddy lets refugee children pick an animal buddy, stuff it and dress it. The smiles, oohs and aahs are priceless.
Generous donations from Utah’s Islamic community and other supporters, plus hard work on the ground, Hope Humanitarian was able to provide approximately 200 hot meals a day during the month of Ramadan, 2018.
Basic staples like rice, lentils, cooking oil and salt are desperately needed by refugees. A package of 100 pounds of basics will last an average-sized family 2-3 weeks.
